What is WooCommerce?
WooCommerce is an open-source e-commerce plugin for WordPress that turns a WordPress site into an online store. Every order is recorded there, which makes it a reliable source for deciding which partner or referrer earned a reward.
How Partnero works with WooCommerce
The Partnero plugin connects your store to your Partnero account and tracks the full journey in three stages:
- Referred visits. The plugin automatically adds the Partnero tracking script to every page of your site, and visits from partner links are recorded.
- Referred signups. When a visitor creates an account, Partnero attributes the signup to the partner or referrer who sent them.
- Referred purchases. WooCommerce orders are sent back to your Partnero account and attributed to the same partner.
To set it up:
- Download the Partnero Affiliate and Referral Management plugin.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins and upload the ZIP file. Then activate it.
- Open the Partnero menu, choose the Affiliate or Refer-a-Friend tab, enter your API key from the Integration section in Partnero, and click Connect.
